Just got a soundtrack LP from movie "Ben Trying". The second side is mostly Richard, and it contains him preaching, chatting, and singing the beautiful "Amazing Grace" a few times. Looks like this album is very rare since it is not listed on any book and no fan seems to have heard of it before.

This movie starred Steve Marshall as Ben, who is confused about how to find God. It's filmed mostly in the Intensive Care Ward of Mercy Hospital in Los Angeles, where Ben is dying after being in a car accident. He is visited by his three sisters, all who have a different perspective on religion. Then he is visited by preacher Little Richard who sits at his bedside and preaches to him and sings "Amazing Grace". Filmed in late 1984 and shown in a couple of theatres in early 1985, it did not cause a stir. Ironically, it was shown just before Little Richard had his own disasterous auto accident in the autumn of 1985, and landed in hospital in L.A. for six months, something he never fully did recover from. This movie was made only months before Richard's appearance in the hit movie "Down and Out in Beverly Hills".

A remarkable discovery - congratulations!
The more we have of Richard's material the better.

Ok Timo.
But main interest was to see images of the record / cover / label because they are not online any longer on this forum (empty image frames).
>>...although it is long time ago is it possible to post a scan or images again, details like catalogue number, label etc. here in written words?<<
Regards, Olaf
Kind regards, Olaf
