Holy Mackeral! I fell asleep early last night and missed the Yankee game...but when I jumped into my antique Mazada Protege to get to the gym and turned on the radio I heard the controversial Don Imus extolling the contribution of the true King to his new CD for Charity! The 4-hitter by Mussina will have to be addressed later.
He may have been slightly disappointed in Dwight Yoakam's contribtion but was thrilled with Richard's "I Ain't Never"!
He even played a bit of it - it's mid-tempo Country/Blues, has some of the feeling of the "Southern Child" tracks...but with a full band; alotta bottom.
This could be my favorite LR recording since "Something Else" with Tanya Tucker.
Any Forum posters with any news about this CD?
