Does anybody know LR's summer schedule? I saw him last summer at the House of Blues in Anaheim/Disneyland, and renewed my love for a great artist, one I hadn't seen in years, although I sporadically bought his CD's. This lead me to this board and some great conversations. Anyway, is there somebody who knows where the Architect will perform this summer? Hope he returns to SoCal. He ripped it up in Anaheim.

There seem to be very conflicting stories about the Paris concert. Le Zenith says it is on, but I have read that Richard is denying it. Have you any further information. Thank you.

Please add to Wolfgang's excellent list the Silver Star Casino in Philadelphia (a suburb of Jackson) Mississippi on July 3rd at 9 PM. I got my ticket today so they are already on sale. Nurse Nancy

Thank you for the info. Your contributions are always welcome. I didn't mean to be mean to you on the other thread, just wanted to point out that Richard does not like photos and that rules set up by venues are not always useful.

I have no further information. But I hope the show happens.

NN: I would doubt it. Work, obligations, etc. If you do go, remember that Fresno in the summer is no day at the beach. It will be HOT up there---and not just because of Richard's performance.

How about you, Beau? I know we've been emailing, but are you as excited as we are? It's been a while since you saw him live, hasn't it? This is going to be grand! If anyone else out there can make it (if tickets are still available) we would love to see you there, too! Nurse Nancy

Hello Nurse Nancy!,

I will be at B. B. King's in my Rock and Roll Shoes! Would love to attend as many LR shows as possible, but right now I'm locked into the East Coast "tri-State-area" because of horseless carriage considerations.
My entire history of attendance at Little Richard shows (with highlights):

July 18th, 1970: Central Park, Manhattan ["The Girl Can't Help It" closer leaving us breathless]
October 30 or 31, 1970: Madison Square Garden [too fabulous to even select - Richard Nader, please release the presumptive mixing board tape on Rhino!]
June 2, 1972: Madison Square Garden ["I Believe" for the ages]
March 23, 1973: Madison Square Garden ["Send Me Some Lovin' - the ultimate performance; "I Saw Her Standing There" done to perfection - all due respect, Sir Paul]
June 4, 1974: Madison Square Garden ["Slippin' and Slidin', "Satisfaction", "In The Name", 'nuff said?]
October 15 or 16, 1975: Radio City Music Hall ["In The Name" - the "lost" Number One Country Hit]
October 21 or 22, 1975: Radio City Music Hall ["Put It Down, Pick It Up", "Call My Name", "Steal Miss Liza" excerpt]
November 17, 1990: Trump's Taj Mahal, Mark Ettes Arena ["Chain Of Fools, "(There's) No Place Like Home" - LR's second "lost" Number One Country Hit]
June 2, 1999: P.N.C. Arts Center, Holmdel, N.J. ["Bama Lama, Bama Loo", "Be Bop A Lula"]
September 21 or 23, 2003: Sovereign Bank Arena, Trenton, New Jersey ["I'm So Glad I Was Born In The U.S.A.", "Shake Your Hips"]

See you in the Big Apple, Beau

My information indicated Richard would be at Kearney Park last night (the 25th) but there are some conflicts about that. If he DID perform last night...was anyone there? Please tell...Nurse Nancy

He did perform last night at Avila Beach Blues Festival. Canned Heat and Elvin Bishop opened the show. I wasn't there, though.

Thanks, Timo...I appreciate the information. It may sound a little trite, but when I know there is a performance (even -or maybe especially)when I cannot go, I always like to pray for safe travel for Richard, the band and those who travel with them.I am already, as I am sure you have read, very excited indeed for the upcoming shows in New York. Nurse Nancy
